BRAND Ultra Low Retention tips feature a patented surface treatment to make the polypropylene of the pipette tips extremely liquid repellent thus reducing costly sample loss during pipetting. The ultra-hydrophobic tips are ideal for biological samples that contain detergents such as Triton® X-100, SDS, Tween etc. A special patented process does not use coatings that might lead to sample contamination. The surface is highly homogeneous and free of defect sites, preventing non-specific binding. Surface treatment has a high chemical resistance, and is ideal for working with solvents. Tips are autoclavable.
Tips are available racked or stacked in non-sterile or BIO-CERT® sterile. BIO-CERT® tips are certified free from endotoxin, DNA, Rnase and ATP by an independent lab.
Filtered tips have polyethylene filters to protect samples and instruments from contamination. The filters contain no sealants to allow easy sample recovery without contamination and are available sterile, in boxes or ecologically friendly refill packaging.
